Candid Photograph

I heard something really cool last night.  Henri Cartier Bresson- When asked how to make a photograph, he said "You must satisfy the eye".  For a guy who spoke in fragments and talked little about his work this resonated with me.  If a composition is visually pleasing to you close your shutter and capture the moment.

I really like this shot,a nd to be honest I don't have a real reason why. It just seems visually pleasing to the eye, and the fact that it's not colour makes it seem something out of the ordinary. It's a busy picture, so my eye is constantly wandering. The wet (or at least it appears that way) road and pavement are also very pleasing to look at.
